BIG NEWS AT Savanna Rose Dance Studio! Our student & dance teacher Lucas Rohlfs is the new MR. DANCE OF MICHIGAN!
Lucas has had an amazing week full of dance! On Friday he attended audition classes in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance - as well as a rehearsal that night. Saturday he had a private interview with the judges. And on Sunday he performed a group number with all the other students competing in the competition, as well as his contemporary solo "The Last Heartbeat."
Lucas will be competing at the national program in Atlanta, Georgia this summer for the title of Mr. Dance of America!
Our studio owner, Savanna Spindelman, is a proud member of Dance Masters of Michigan Chapter 4 & Dance Masters of America. This organization puts on the Solo Title program each year for dancers to learn and grow in dance and in everyday life! A huge thank you to DMM for all your help & support throughout our studio's journey! We are excited to join DMA at the National Program this summer!
We are so proud of Lucas! He always gives 100% effort (or more), has a good attitude, and he truly LOVES to dance and to share his passion of dance with others. He will continue to work hard and progress his technique leading up to the national program.
